When I felt small,
You always gave me the strength and I stood proud and tall,
When I was cold, you put your arms around me and I felt warm and safe,
I was content to be ensconced in your loving and soft embrace,
You taught me so many things that a book would never teach,
Like how to forgive others and practice what I preach,
I can always recall the words you would tell me that would alwaysmake my tears subside annd always make a smile appear,
Don't worry you can always count on me because I will always be here
